Our philosophy is an important part of who we are and how we treat our clients.

Performing valuation and business development services is both art and science. 

The science is derived from years of study, training and education. 

The art comes from professional judgment obtained through extensive experience as both operating managers and consultants. 

We believe the best results are obtained from professionals that have a mixture of consulting and operations experience.    

Alteris consultants conduct business in the most professional and ethical manner possible.  We are very serious about our personal and professional integrity.  We understand that the credibility of our work depends on our integrity.  And we know that good ethics and integrity is just the right thing to do.

We maintain client information completely confidential and private, unless compelled under force of law to reveal this information.   We do not reveal the identities of clients, even if it would be help the marketing of our firm.

We adhere to the standards of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) and other appropriate professional organizations. 

We are committed to the traditional values surrounding the role of trusted advisor.  The goal is to be a independent advisor and analyst, that will always tell the truth.  Our incentives are aligned with clients.  

Community

Alteris consultants are involved in giving back to our community.

We support the technical and professional development of non-profit organizations. Emphasis is placed on helping entrepreneurs and enhancing educational opportunities.

Our consultants are deeply involved in educational activities both professionally and as volunteers.  This includes teaching at local colleges and universities and public speaking on valuation and various other business topics. 

Several of our team members are or have been professors at major universities.  Several are well published in the academic literature.
